Dyno Tuning Check List
To ensure a quality tune and smooth operations, the vehicle owner must check to ensure that the automobile being tuned is mechanically operational.
Here are some things to check before coming to the shop. (We will charge a fee to fix any problems that affects the tune)
1. Loosen the o2 sensor (we'll usually use ours)
2. Check for Boost/vacuum leaks
3. Make sure hose clamps are on tight
4. Make sure all fluid are full after you've flushed it
5. Gap the spark plug correctly based on your setup
6. Make sure timing is set to factory setting
7. Make sure your wheel/tires are suitable for dyno tuning.( They should be balanced and should have thread)
8. Make sure to use quality gasoline
9. Make sure that the wastegate you have will support the boost levels desired (for boosted cars)
10. Make sure all electrical wirings are neatly wired and tucked
