We are currently providing chip kits for Honda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi. These chip kits are essential for modifying ecus to compensate for new performace parts. We are currently working on new products to add to this page. Please check back for new kits.

OBD0 chip kit

This kit is for vehicles which utilize an OBD0 ECU.(PR3, PR4, PM6, PW0, and others)
Includes:

-28pin socket for easy chip swapping
-SST Reprogrammable or Eprom UV eraseable Chip ( If one is not requested, we will send the one that we have more of)

OBD1 Chip Kit

This kit if for vehicles which utilize an OBD1 ECU. (P30, P72, P28, PR3, P06, P08 and others)
Includes:

-SST Reprogrammable or Eprom UV eraseable Chip ( If one is not requested, we will send the one that we have more of)
-28pin socket
-1 jumper or excess resistor leg
-20pin socket
-1 resistor
-2 capacitor
-Octal Latch chip
(USED for USDM and JDM regular size ECU)

These kits comes complete for installation. You will need a desoldering tool and a soldering tool. We recommend Hakko tools as they are of high quality. You will also need flux and solder to complete the job.

--Any shipments sent back to RD TECH because it couldn't be delivered, does not constitute the right to a credit.

-- Selecting another Carrier does not guarantee that the order will be shipped by a certain date.
--If you receive an incorrect item due to our error, we will ship out the correct package when we receive incorrect package (or we will ship out the package if we receive a tracking number for the returned wrong package).
Shipping cost, incurred on your part, will be refunded to you. You must contact us within 24hrs of receipt to make this claim.
--All merchandises are packed carefully and correctly to ensure that the package will not be damaged in transit.
-- Damaged shipments should be checked in the presence of the carrier.
-- All claims for damaged or loss to your shipment must be made with the carrier. ( Only if you purchased insurance. We encourage the purchase of insurance)
-- Please keep all shipping cartons and packaging for carrier inspection.
-- RD TECH will not initiate any claims with the carrier for any purposes. Claims for missing items or damaged shipments must be made within three working days of receipt.
